Capt. D. S. Basraon is a licensed pilot on the A330 and A320 fleet types and an ex-Air Force pilot. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he worked for Kingfisher Airlines and Vistara as a senior commander. His mission is to turn India into a significant pilot training Centre that would be known globally. "Establishing a state-of-the-art ATO facility in India that meets worldwide training standards is my aim," he says. We should be self-sufficient in terms of training so that the rest of the globe can look to us for their aviation training needs. We plan to train international pilots as well, with the goal of making them worldwide brand ambassadors.
Director P R SRINIVASAN
Mr. Srinivasan founded Xponentia before joining FSTC. He has also worked with Citigroup Venture Capital International ("CVCI") as the India Region Head and Managing Director. He was also a member of the CVCI team that created two global emerging market funds, one of which raised USD 1.5 billion in 2005 and the other of which raised USD 4.3 billion in 2007. He was a co-founder of HSBC Private Equity in India, which raised a USD 60 million fund in 1995, before joining CVCI. Over the course of his investment career, he has led and been a part of various transactions totaling more than USD 700 million in invested money. Mr. Srinivasan possesses a bachelor's degree in engineering from the College of Engineering in Guindy, Chennai, as well as a post-graduate diploma in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management.
